What is Fertility Yoga?

Holistic Approach

Physical poses (asanas), breathing (pranayama), and guided relaxation are combined to address the physical and emotional aspects of fertility.

Cycle-Syncing

Yoga practices are adapted to align with the menstrual cycle, either to support, rest, or revitalize the body.

Stress Reduction

Deep relaxation and breath work calm the nervous system, counteracting stress' negative impact on reproductive health.

Reproductive Support

Through specific poses, blood flow and warmth to the pelvic area and reproductive organs is enhanced.

After working with fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum patients using acupuncture and herbs for over a decade and teaching yoga for 5 years, I began to see the need for adding a more cycle-based approach to my yoga practice.

I now teach yoga workshops to inspire a more thoughtful way for women to come to the mat during the different parts of our cycle: a way that helps us connect to the ever changing rhythms of our bodies throughout the monthly cycle.

Cycle-focused yoga can potentially help:
